LENS Neurofeedback

Efficient. Effective. Lasting.

LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) uses small electrical impulses to stimulate underactive parts of the brain and disrupt ingrained patterns that have outgrown their usefulness.

LENS is a highly efficient and safe form of neurofeedback that requires little to no effort from the client. Other forms of neurofeedback last up to an hour per session and can take over 100 sessions to achieve desired results. A typical LENS session lasts only 3-4 minutes, and clients usually only need an average of 11 sessions, saving them both time and money.

LENS is effective for individuals of all ages and can help with a wide range of neurological issues, mental health concerns, and performance-related problems.

LENS therapy is recommended to help address the symptoms of:

  • ADD/ADHD

  • Addiction

  • Anxiety

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Depression

  • Neurological issues

  • Pain

  • Post-partum depression

  • Sensory processing difficulties

  • Sleep issues

  • Trauma

Over 85% of people who have used LENS have reported significant benefits.

what to expect

The LENS Neurofeedback process is quick and simple. Here is a brief overview of what you can expect:

  1. Consultation: The first step is to schedule a consultation with one of our certified LENS practitioners. During this free 15 minute consultation, we will discuss your specific symptoms and concerns, and answer any questions that you may have. We can schedule an appointment during this consultation if you're ready to proceed with LENS neurofeedback, or you can schedule a session afterward using our 'Book a Session' link.

  2. LENS Neurofeedback Sessions: During your first LENS session, we'll complete a LENS questionnaire together in the office to more thoroughly tailor your LENS session to your unique needs and goals. Then, you will sit comfortably in a chair as the LENS equipment is connected to your scalp via EEG sensors. You'll close your eyes for a few seconds as the LENS system captures your brainwave activity, processes the signal, and then mirrors this information back, which helps reset your brain and nervous system to its optimal functioning.

Initial sessions typically take around 45-60 minutes. Follow up sessions usually only take around 20-30 minutes, with the actual LENS application only taking 3-4 minutes. There is nothing needed from you during the session other than to sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience.

  3. Notice the Results: After your LENS sessions, we will encourage you to listen to your body and pay attention to the results. Sometimes the results are instantaneous. However, typically, clients report that they begin to feel the benefits of LENS within the first 48 hours.
